Disciples Are Disciple Makers
Merely stating, ¨I’m a Christian¨ just wont get it. That’s because so many people wear the label of Christianity yet know nothing of spiritual maturity- becoming like Christ. Our goal is to be like Christ. Our reward is eternal.
Mature believers are called disciples.
True disciples not only follow Christ but they encourage others to to the same. They intentionally multiply. That’s why I am thrilled to share information on this website.I hope to add value to your life and multiply disciples as you share Christ’s good news with others.
Curtis Sergeant said this,
“Being a disciple is not an individual sport, it’s a team sport!”
Do you have your ducks in a row?
Observe a duck family as the mother duck leads her ducklings.
In this video you see that following the mother duck is so important a police officer even stopped traffic to let the mother duck and her ducklings pass by.
This is proof that in order to lead other ducklings you don’t have to be a mature duck, you just have to be one step ahead.
The only mother duck in disciple making is Jesus Christ, the rest of us are all ducklings.
A Christ Follower
If I’m a Christian that means I have a relationship with God (view the video below to see why I prefer not to be called religious). Loving God and establishing Him as first priority is my life allows me to serve you with greater capacity.
That’s because I realize that I am nothing without Him.
Putting God first is the prerequisite for servant leadership.
Matthew 6:33 says to seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness first, then everything else will be added to you.
1 Cor. 13:13 states that Love is first priority.
The Great Commandment says to Love the Lord with al l your heart Mark 12:30
vs 31 gives us our second priority, to love others
Wisdom says that we should seek God first.
