We have been going through some difficult times with the ministry and even in our own personal lives. Trials and Difficult times are a part of life.
It’s not an accident that She wrote about this. Many people are going through trials. Times like this are not easy,
but most of the time they are necessary if we want to be like Christ. It’s like an unspoken law. “If you want to be a successful person, who have to pay the price”. It’s as sure as the law of gravity. What comes up must come down. It’s always the darkest just before you break through to the light at the end of the tunnel.
We just attended the funeral For the Apostle of the 25 Indian Churches that we provide a spiritual covering for. It’s a very sad time for us and for these Indian Pastors and leaders and an even sadder time for his immediate family. They are passing through a dark time in their lives. They need hope, support and encouragement. Please pray for them because God wants to take them to a more excellent place.
Success in life doesn’t come easy. Ask any successful minister or business person. We see a successful person accomplishments but most of the time, only a few people (and God ) knows the price they paid to obtain that success.
Despite these difficult times, we are expecting a spiritual and material breakthrough not only for our lives her in Mexico but also for yours!
We are expecting God to move in a big way. We are expecting something BIG!
I have been ministering for the past month on subjects related to the promised land and the price to get there. Here’s my past months ministry titles:
- September 21, 2008- Tuxtla Gutierrrez.”How the sickness of escusitis keeps us from Obtaining big things”. I used Exodus 3 and 4 as my text and described how Moses gave excuses to God, “Who am I?” What should I say? What if they don’t believe me? I am slow of speech” Are excuses keeping you from being successful? Are you a positive person?
- September 28, 2008- San Cristobal de las Casas. “Obstacles to Receiving Blessings” Text: Nubers 14 & 14. How Moses sent the 12 spys into the promised land and 10 out of 12 of them only saw the Giants. But Joshua and Caleb said that the land of promise is ours for the taking. Are you prepared to pay the price to enter into the land of promise?
- October 3rd, 2008- 1 day after Apostle Mariano became very sick and stopped responding. Praying for God’s perfect will (The Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6) Don’t worry, Trust God. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
- October 5th, 2008- Villa Flores. Matthew 6:23 Seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness first and all these things will be added unto you. Don’t concentrate on your problems, stop worrying. Concentrate on what you can give, not what you can get. When you do, your problems wont seem so big. There’s always someone with worst problems than you have.
A cultural note on burial customs:
On October 7th, 2008. Pastor Mariano goes home to meet the Lord.
It is now October 9th, 2008 . The Indians have taken over 2 days to mourn his lost. By now there is a foul, almost unbearable odor since they do not do anything to the body. The casket is already closed to cover the smell. Can you imagine the memory that is etched into our minds. One day later our clothes still bore the smell since the aerosol spray cans that were used to try and cover the odor only served to attach the mixed odor to everything in within 15 foot of the casket. Here’s the message that was delivered from Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. He went from Ashes to Ashes, from Dust to Dust.

The Lord Will Rescue You
This past week I ministered on Jeremiah 1:19. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD. Anything that is worth having is worth fighting for. The easy road is not always the best road . Fight the good fight.
I feel like this is a word from the Lord for everyone. Sometimes it can be of comfort to know that we are not passing through the desert alone. Our prayer is that you will not give up. The Lord will rescue you. The promised land is near and is yours for the taken. If you’re in a fight for your life, you’re right in the middle of the very best moments of your life. Be encouraged, your closer today than you have ever been before.
May God fulfill all of your dreams and visions!
