I knew I had to respond
Ever since God called me to the mission field during that trip to Mexico, I couldn’t escape the burden He had placed on my heart for the nations.
After graduating from Bible school, I knew I had to respond.
I desperately wanted to see souls saved and disciples made for Jesus Christ.
Becoming an official missionary
So in January of 1989, I said “yes” to God’s call, joined Globe International as a full-time missionary, and moved to Jalisco.

Moving to Mexico With Almost No Spanish
There was just one problem:
I knew very little Spanish.
Equipped with only a small pocket translator, I moved in with a Spanish-speaking family in Guadalajara, where I was immediately immersed in the language and culture of a completely different world.

That realization changed the direction of our ministry.
Planting Churches

Yet even then, I began to recognize another challenge.
As a pastor, I could only personally lead one or two churches at a time.
The need was far greater.
That realization would eventually lead us toward leadership development, disciple multiplication, and training others to make disciples — a direction that continues shaping our ministry today.
A little while later we moved to Chiapas Mexico where the harvest was ripe for seeing new souls saved and disciples made. We began Training Leaders and planting Churches in Chiapas….

Thank you for partnering with us as we help people enter in the Kingdom of God!
