Because of God’s unstoppable love neither religious opposition nor constipation could prevent God’s blessings from flowing in Asia as hundreds of people received new life in Christ this month.

Reaching the Unreached!
I just returned from a month long trip (Aug. 18 to Sept 18, 2015) to Reach the Unreached in the 10/40 window of Asia.
It was an honor to visit many of Globe International’s church planting missionaries in 4 different Countries – Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
In Thailand we participated in house-church movements in remote villages.

Opposition Tried to Stop The Crusade, but…

When we arrived in Sri Lanka we traveled a long way to arrive in the hill country where the Tamil people live. Most of them are Hindu and some of them are Buddhists. None of them have ever heard of God’s unstoppable love and the Good News of Jesus Christ, until now…
We began a 3 night crusade in this very remote place that had absolutely no church or Christians for many miles.
On the first day of the crusade we got a message from Pastor Yoga, our crusade director, that a local Buddhist priest contacted the authorities asking them to shut down the crusade for fear that people might become Christian. God gave us favor with the authorities and Pastor Yoga invited the local police to also attend the meetings to see for themselves what we were preaching. They attended the first two nights and after realizing we weren’t causing any problems, they left and allowed the crusade to continue!
How God used my constipation as a blessing

It was the first night of our crusades in Sri Lanka and I had been battling with constipation because of so much travel. (See caption below my image on the right to get my definition of spiritual constipation). Another missionary evangelist gave me a laxative during the morning hours. I was hoping it would take effect quickly but it didn’t.
It was late afternoon when we arrived at the field where the event was to take place. That’s when my stomach finally began to rumble.
I scouted out a place to do my business. I found one toilet but it was really nasty. Then I asked one of the young men who had been setting up the tent in the area for help. He said he knew of a toilet and took me to the village to use it.

I was surprised that he took me to someone’s home. I squatted Sri Lanka style and finished my unstoppable business. Water was even provided. (They don’t use toilet paper).
Walking out of the toilet the members of the household told me, ¨Tea is ready!¨
This Tamil family invited me in and they were really excited about having a real gringo in their home. I drank the tea and complimented them on their lovely family. Then I asked if I could pray for them. They gathered all the members and I blessed their home and family. They were very happy! We then took pictures of the family and I also invited them to our event. They gladly accepted my invitation.

A lot of young men were gathered outside the house listening to us. They all greeted me as I left the house. I chatted with them and soon more young men gathered around me. Before long I had made quite a few friends. I boldly prayed for them too and invited all the young men to attend our crusade.

Guess what?
Turns out this Tamil man was the town medicine man- The Person of Peace!
His entire family attended the event and made decisions to follow Christ
Plus the youth received new Life in Christ!
That’s not all… We saw over 200 people make first time decisions for Christ and hundreds of people heard the Gospel for the very first time! The crusade concluded on Saturday night and on Sunday we planted the very first church in the region close to the crusade grounds.

I preached on Sunday morning as over 100 new believers showed up to start this new journey of following Jesus. It was one of the most beautiful things to witness.

As I preached, I thought to myself about how these wonderful people do not understand about what Jesus did for them on the cross. I had the awesome privilege of showing them a Bible and explaining about how speaks to them when they read it. I then shared one of the stories from the Bible and preached about how Jesus is alive today!

What an honor to share the Gospel with people who have never-ever previously heard Jesus good News!

Many of you know that I am the Globe Mexico Director. I am also director of Church planting ministries with Globe International in Pensacola Fl. However you may not know that we are not financially compensated by Globe. Travel to Asia is costly and our family is able to go to the Nations because of your prayers and financial partnership.
This year we will be a part of the Globe Summit in October and will hold our first missionary candidate school in Mexico in November.
