We just finished up our first orientation for potential missionaries in Mexico. It was called Envíame 2015 which means “send me”.
The orientation was held on November 20-22 in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. Attendance to this event is a prerequisite to becoming a Globe Mexico missionary.

Most of our Globe team attended Enviame 2015:
Ed, Jaime Carr, Jorge Gutierrez, Francisco Rodas, and Ahabael Lugo. Special guests included, Doug Gehman, President of Globe International and Josh Britnell, field director of Globe Hope in Nicaragua. (Brad Thurston was the only team member that did not attend this time).

We were pleased to have 8 candidates attending the orientation. Some of our main training emphasis, was on core values, partnership development, disciple making and the need to reach the least reached peoples of the earth.
Here are some of the testimonies we received.
The time was incredible. Globe Mission Mexico is going forward. Ed is doing a great job pulling people and vision together. Much of the development is still embryonic, but there is LIFE, a growing and cohesive team, genuine church participation, and a solid group of candidates (about 8 went through this first simple Orientation). Important next steps include finalizing the legal status of the organization, setting up an office with equipment and trained staff, and starting our first Kairos training course for applicants.Doug Gehman
We thank God for Mision Global because this training has been a blessing to my wife and me. We feel that God is confirming and establishing a call for us This training has been an excellent opportunity and we want to learn more about what God is doing in missions.

This experience was really interesting, the place we stayed was really nice, but the word we received from each of the missionaries; in this short time , was a great blessing to me. All this was new, but beautiful. I thank God for the life of the missionaries who invested in me through these workshops because I really want to be used by God to reach souls around the world.

The disciple making workshops and missionary messages impacted my heart because the great commission that God gave us is for everyone.; Understanding what God wants is the key. He wants us to be willing and obedient to where He calls us and to learn to depend on Him! In Enviame 2015 we were blessed to hear the experiences of missionaries, who have stayed in different places and adapted to different cultures. We heard testimonies of faith from men who believed the promises of God and have dared to impact their environment. These men have decided to follow Christ to death. This confirms my feeling about missions, knowing that there are people who may share the same passion for souls and discovering that we all can be a humble instrument of blessing to the nations, continuing to extend the kingdom of God throughout the world.
