Greetings from Chiapas, Mexico where our family has been busy ministering in churches and planning for a city wide Globe Mexico missions conference which will take place on July 15 & 16th here in Tuxtla Gutierrez. Please pray for God to touch the hearts of pastors, leaders and individuals to send out Mexican missionaries in obedience to Christ’s great commission.
I want to thank our faithful partners and everyone who responded to our request to team up with us financially last month. Thanks to you, last month we had $955.64 come into our personal support account. That’s great considering we just started giving people the opportunity to be credited with seeing souls saved and disciples made as we train leaders and plant new churches among the least reached peoples of the earth. As you know, we rely on partners like you to help us spread the Gospel. We deeply appreciate your continued faithfulness as we make disciples for Christ around the World.
Missions in Asia

Last month, Pastor Bruce Dumond, Jimmy Smith and I traveled to visit Globe International missionaries who are planting (house) churches in Asia. For security reasons, I was unable to post very much while there and this content has been edited also.

Here’s some highlights of our trip…
We found one place in Asia to be a great place to visit. We were not free to openly preach the Gospel but we were able to “refresh the saints” by ministering to the missionaries who are in the underground church. Many people immediately greeted us with smiling faces and began to practice their English. We were very well received by these Asians.

My heart also goes out to these people in unreached nations. Jesus sacrificed His life for them and they need to hear the good news so they won’t spend eternity in hell.

We also visited in Penang, Malaysia which is a very multicultural city. These diverse people groups include Malay, Chinese, Indian and European influences.
All the major religions of the world are represented including Buddhist and Hindus. Interestingly there are also Mu,sl.ims . I found them to be are very hospitable and unbiased towards us as Americans. Islam is prevalent. When we went to the supermarket the “pork” section was completely secluded from the rest of the meats because in the Qu’ran, Allah prohibits his servants from eating swine.

It’s against the law to share the Gospel with the Malay but since the official language is English, we got to interact with a lot of them which is really neat.
While in Malaysia, we asked God to lead us to “people of peace” who have a spiritual hunger and influence with their people. God was faithful and the Holy Spirit led us to a Thai restaurant owner who not only provided open doors for ministry in disciple making groups in Malaysia but also in Thailand where we will be visiting again soon.
Be sure and follow us on Facebook.com to stay up to date daily.
Thanks again for sending us to the harvest fields!
Multiplying disciples together,
Ed, Ana & Cristi
