Jesus breaks every fetter!
Today we’re literally breaking feathers and thanking God for answers to prayer. (forgive my play on words).
After asking God to open doors for us to get the word our about our Misión Global Missions conference on July 15 & 16 , I decided to go to the local Christian radio station Impacto de dios Radio 97.9 FM . The director, Lizet, received me very enthusiastically because she has a heart for missions. She not only gave me free spots to advertise but she immediately interviewed me about our missions sending agency.
We also scheduled more interviews.
I was surprised when Lizet told me she climbs the mountain almost daily also. Lizet informed me about how people would climb the mountain and offer feathers as a pact or covenant to Satan. She told me how she would break their powers of prayer when she found a feather.
I’m amazed at how satan worshipers know the power of prayer.
Just like Lizet, as Christians we need to exercise our power of prayer. If we do, we’ll reach new heights with God. Not only will we see God answer our prayers, we will also be able to accomplish great things for Christ.
Pleas pray for us and for God to mobilize Mexican missionaries who will tear down the gates of hell.
2 Chronicles 27 14 says “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”
There’s an old chorus from our Bible School days that speaks of the fetters (chains) that keep us bound in our life of sin. It comes from this verse:
He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.” Psalm 107:4
The word, “fetter” is not a word used often these days but it is used in various hymns describing the wonderful freedom that Christ brings.
We are free because Jesus paid the price on the Cross!
