Here’s an encouraging story about the power of prayer.
Yesterday Cristi and I were hiking up the mountain. I climbed up a cliff that’s about 10 feet off the ground. All of a sudden the large rock I was holding onto gave way.
I fell to the ground and landed on my buttocks. I immediately felt a sharp pain go up my spine to my head.
I also hit Cristi when I fell, she helped to break my fall most likely preventing more injuries.
Both of us hobbled down the mountain and made our way home.

The Ark Church immediately sent out a prayer chain text activating the Saints to pray for us. Tia Vicky also came up to our apartment and prayed.
I believe that in that instant God healed me of what could have really been something terrible. That’s the power of prayer.

I was able to get up out of bed and Efrain took us to the Doctor. X Ray results only showed a compressed vertebrae for me. Cristi had a torn ligament in her shoulder and a swollen wrist.
What you may not realize is that,
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
(The is something spiritual about high places)
As I was on the cliff, Cristi said,
“Look at the flowers, Dad”
As soon as I looked at the flowers, the rock gave way and I fell to the ground.
You may remember that a month ago, Cristi found a feather and brought it home. We later found out that Satan worshipers make altars using feathers and flowers. So we immediately tore up the feather. Here’s last month’s breaking fetter message and video:
That’s the Power of Prayer
We are in a spiritual battle. Satan attacks us as leaders. It’s not a coincidence that we just finished our missions conference with Misón Global.
Mexican Young people are being trained and mobilized to take the Gospel to the Nations.
A dozen young people responded to God’s great commission call saying “Here am I, send me” and our first missionary intern will be leaving next month for Europe.
We want to thank everyone who prayed for our family. Cristi and I are in a little pain but thanks to the prayers of the Saints we will be ok.
The great commission tells us to go and make disciples of all nations. Then it says, I will be with you… always.
We are not alone. Thank God we also have you by our side. We will recuperate just a little and rejoin the battle. Together we can make a difference.
We appreciate all your prayers and support. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
