We’ve been telling the good news everywhere we go. Tonight we will go to the main plaza in town and share Christ with more needy people. Tomorrow we’ll encourage believers in a Church in San Cristobal to share their faith.
Last week I shared about a man who didn’t get healed.
All week-long we’ve been hiking up the mountain and praying for you. Thank you for your prayers! Also, we want to thank you if you partner financially with us.
Here’s what you helped us do this past week:
- Saturday Evening our English Speaking disciple making group shared the story of Philip and the Eunuch.
- Sunday Pastor Jorge spoke about forgiving and publicly confessed he needed to forgive some Christian leaders
- Monday Josh Britnell lead our Globe Mexico storytelling workshop (See story below)
- Tuesday– I was in my car and stopped at a red-light. A man in a wheelchair comes up and asks for money.
I not only gave him 5 pesos but I prayed for him (thinking about his back and legs)…
“God heal you in Jesus name”
HE POINTED TO HIS HEART and said, “Glory to God, I’m already healed!
I was instantly reminded that healing can be more than just a physical thing.
- Thursday we ate tacos at a new family’s house as we talked to them about the importance of being baptized.
Man Repents! Clenches Fists!
This week after our storytelling workshop, we decided to practice what we learned.

So we went out to share stories from the Bible with people on the street. We met Ricardo as he was attending a parking lot. We told him the story of how Phillip shared the good news with a Eunuch who then repented and was baptized. Then I asked the man,
“Do you follow Christ?”
He said NO, he does not, but he knew he should.
I said, “you need to repent”
and HE DID!
In fact he spent a quite a few minutes asking God for forgiveness. (without me leading him in a repeat-after-me prayer)
I responded, “Great!, now do you have a pain in your body we can pray for?”
“Yes, I have arthritis in both hands”
I told him to stretch out your hands and watch what God does as we all prayed for the man.
“Are you healed?”
“I don’t know”, he said.
I told him to do something you couldn’t do before.
As he clenched his hands into a fist he said,”I couldn’t close my hands like this before”
I asked “Well then, are you healed?”
He looked at his hands and said. “Yes!”
“Praise God! “we all proclaimed.
Then Ricardo lifted his hands into the air and said “Glory to God!”

NOT THE END OF THE STORY…
Ricardo still needs to be baptized and I know where he works!
p.s Disciple making is not a one time encounter. I revisited Ricardo last night and he is struggling to follow Christ. Please pray for him.
p. p.s. Not everyone we meet repents or gets healed. That doesn’t stop us from being obedient to Christ’s command to share His good news with everyone. My hope is that these stories will inspire you to share Christ with your family, friends and even strangers. Let me know in the comment form below if I can help share Christ in any way.
