Asians Get an Opportunity to Hear about Christ for the First Time

Everybody In Every Nation Should Have an Opportunity to Hear About Jesus Christ at least once in their lifetime!

Family ministering with Globe Mexico in JuneOn June 18, Ana, Cristi and I returned to Mexico to concentrate on making disciples via Globe Mexico. This Mexican missions sending agency trains, sends, and serves Mexican individuals and churches so they can go to unreached nations.

On May 4th- June 5th Andre Provost and I visited Southeast Asia. Here’s some highlights of our trip.

Storytelling with young peopleIn a Country where we are not free to openly share the Gospel we conducted English speaking storytelling groups with English teachers and students and God gave us a family of peace to continue the ministry.

Romans 15:20Many people heard God’s Word for the first time and I still can’t get over the fact that so many people have never heard of Jesus Christ. Last month I told you about a taxi driver we shared a Bible story with and he asked us,

“What is a Bible and where can I get one?”

Uber MotorcycleWe rode the Country’s most popular vehicle, a motorbike.  What may surprise you is that the motorcycle was an Uber!

Buddhist lawyer begins to make disciples for ChristIn Uthumphon Phisai, Sisaket, Thailand the population of 400,000 people has no known Christians or churches.  After seeking people of peace for days a lawyer responded to the gospel message and said he wanted to reproduce more disciples!

I got a lift from an elephantI got a lift from an elephant and we participated in a church planting seminar in Khon Kaen where we spent time with Globe Goer Chris and Whitney Lawson and Karen Welker.

I became accustomed to squatty-potties. Using water instead of toilet paper is the difficult part.

Andre shares the good newsAndre Provost and I shared the Gospel in places where less than 1 out of every 1000 people have heard of Christ .

After spending over two hours sharing the good news with this group of people we proclaimed, 

“Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again after 3 days. ..  Are you ready to believe?” 

One lady responded, 

“This is the first time we’ve ever heard this, tell me some more…”
