Thanksgiving is a time when we ¨Give Thanks¨. Its one of my favorite times of the year.
The majority of people in other countries do not celebrate Thanksgiving as it is known in the United States. However, it doesn’t matter which Country you live in, we should always have an attitude of gratitude and Give thanks in all things.
Let’s break down “thanks” and “giving” into two parts:
Giving
We should GIVE thanks in all things.
I’m thankful for you as a partner. You are a giver, and God blesses people who give.
You may hearing about the lesson Cristi taught us on giving:
Give Thanks
Here’s 5 Things I’m Thankful For:

If we have our priorities in order it will help us in everything that we do.
There are 5 priorities that I am especially thankful for….
1. I’m thankful Jesus died on the cross and we can have a relationship Him.
Notice that I said our relationship and NOT our religion. I know that there are many different religions, I’m talking about communicating with Jesus and worshiping God, not just going to church. It is important to put God first in everything that we do and then everything else should fall in line.
2. I’m thankful for my wife and Family
This should be second priority. Many times we tend to put work or service before our family. Ana and I just celebrated our Anniversary (Nov 7, 1992). Next to a relationship with Christ, the day that we marry a person is a life changing event and should be considered very important. My daughter Cristi shouldn’t have to feel like my work or ministry is more important than she is.
3. Quality Friendships
Sometimes I fall short in this area because I would rather work than to go out with friends. Quality relationships require work and they need to be cultivated. Your friends help define who you are. Going to a church is a great way to be with Godly friends. I’m grateful that you as my ministry partner is are also a great friend.
4. Work or Ministry
We spend much of our time on our jobs. Just because we spend more time at work, at least 40 hours a week for many people, doesn’t mean that it should be top priority. I am thankful for the opportunity to work, minister and to serve others with my gifts and talents.
5. Freedom to experience everything else.
There are so many other things to be thankful for such as health (A biggie), material possessions, modern conveniences, and even necessities in life such as food and clothing. I am thankful that I live in a free country and that I am free to worship Christ. Many lost people in the World don’t enjoy that freedom.
We are thankful for you, your precious family and your partnership as we share the good news of Christ with the world.
Here’s some exciting news about what’s going on as we’ve ministered on your behalf over the past few weeks.
What are you thankful for?
