Sending |Global Summit Switzerland
You may know that I’m a leader with two of our missionary sending agencies based out of the USA (Globe International) and Mexico (Mision Global). But did you know that we also have operational hubs in the United Kingdom, Germany and in Switzerland?
While in Switzerland, all 5 us directors attended a yearly Global Summit where we strategized for 4 days on how to more effectively train, send and serve our missionaries as they go to the Nations.
Training Goer in Kenya
As the Disciple Making director for Globe International Ministries I concentrate on training missionaries and their national leaders to multiply disciples and plant churches.
Our family spent the last 2 weeks of October in Kenya, Africa. There we visited the “Challenge Farm” where kids who have been rescued from horrible conditions are housed and schooled so they can make a difference in Kenya. We trained a group of approximately 30 Kenyan kids and leaders how to effectively share their faith.
After some practical group training on how to pray for people, share their testimony, and hold small group meetings, we took the young people to the streets and put their training into practice.
While walking around the neighborhood, one team asked a lady selling vegetables on a street stand how they could pray for her. She replied,
“Please pray for God to help me with my business. I have a lot of cabbage I need to sell.”
The young disciple makers prayed for her and left. Later on, as they passed by her small vegetable stand, they noticed someone purchasing ALL of the ladies cabbage.
Praise God they said,
“God listened to us and answered our prayers!”
We also began implementing a program for the Kenyans called “Senders or Goers”. We taught on the importance of giving as it relates to serving and sending. We gave a call to become a missionary and had many responses. Just like Mexico, we are believing for Kenya to no longer be a receiving Nation, but rather a sending Nation.

Back to Mexico
Starting at the end of November, 2016 our family will be returning to live in Chiapas Mexico. Next year, We’ll return for short trips to the USA as I train Globe International leaders and make various trips abroad to Countries in Asia and Africa.
